apparently the lord of the rings series is supposed to be about the industrial revolution.

i can kinda see it…….

the orcs are the mindless workers, sauruman is a foreman.

sauron is the robber baron

the horse peeps are the gentry

and the hobbits are the irish/scottish peep.

……just to much plot though, it can’t follow the subthemes i guess.
